How can I find parts for my car?

First, try using our Vehicle Selector at undercarexperts.com to narrow your search by vehicle. Select the Year, Make, Model, Part Type and Engine of your car to ensure that every search result fits your specific vehicle. You can also narrow your search even further by selecting an attribute from the left-hand column. Searches can also be made by entering a keyword or part number in the Search field at the top of the page

Why do you need my VIN number when I call or email?

Our goal is to advise the correct parts for your vehicle. Production dates and options that we obtain with your VIN can vary greatly from one vehicle to another. While the data our site uses is generally correct for all models, the only way to fully ensure accuracy is with your VIN. 

  

Does Undercar Experts install parts or service vehicles?

While we offer some in-depth DIY videos and write ups, we do not offer part installation or any vehicle service.

   

Where can I locate the VIN to my vehicle?

On modern vehicles, the VIN can be found on the lower driver’s side of the Windshield.  The VIN will be 17 characters long including both letters and digits. Your insurance ID card is another easy way to access your vehicle's VIN.

 

How can I find my vehicle's production date?

The production date is located on the tag inside the driver's door jam, between the front and rear doors. The tag indicates a month followed by a year, similar to the picture below:

 

Which side of my car is Left and which side is Right?

Left and right is always based on perspective when sitting in the car, so:
Driver side is the left.
Passenger side is on the right.

How do I know if a part fits?

The best way to find the correct part for your car is by utilizing the "My Garage" function on our site. It is located at the top of the homepage. Choose your Year, Make, Model, Part Type and Engine of your vehicle. Then click the blue button that says "Go"
 
Now you can click on items. If an item will fit your car you will see the following:
  

 If the part doesn't fit your vehicle you will see a red X in the same location.
